How to start reporting short positions

  • 1. Understand your reporting requirements

  • 2. Set up your SPRS user account
    • Use your SingPass ID and password to register for an SPRS user account. You will use your SingPass to log in to SPRS subsequently.
    • For foreign persons without a SingPass account, you will be asked to set an account password. You will use your SPRID and account password to log in to SPRS subsequently.
    • If you are reporting on behalf of a short position holder, you will also need to set up an SPRS user account.
    • Go to User Registration to set up your SPRS user account today.
  • 3. Submit short position reports
    • Log in to your SPRS user account and complete the Short Position Reporting Form.
    • If you are reporting on behalf of a short position holder, you will need to input details of the short position holder in the Form.
