The DirRP or an Agent can only terminate a scheme with any of the following statuses:
Active
Issues
Active Issues
Hold
Active Pending Removal
Non-Public
Non-Public Pending Removal
When an Agent submits a Termination Notification, it will be sent to the DirRP, and where applicable, the POA for endorsement. Pending endorsement, the scheme will be "locked". DirRP or Agent cannot perform any other action with respect to the scheme.
If the DirRP rejects or does not endorse the notification within a pre-defined period of time (7 business days after the submission of the Termination Notification), the scheme will be "unlocked" and it will remain in its original status.
Once the scheme is terminated, it cannot be accessed anymore. The scheme status will change to "Terminated" and an email confirmation of the termination will be sent to the DirRP and the Agent.
